Our Background and Mission

Uttorshuri [\u:t-tor-shoo-ri\ n : progeny, posterity] is an internet based discussion forum and a socio-cultural network dedicated to the Bangla speaking people from around the world, including Bangladesh and the West Bengal. Imbued in progressive and advanced thinking, and inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Bangla — our first and foremost goal is to bring together the global Bangalee community for the exchange of ideas, creative expressions, and charitable work. Through this forum, we will strive to achieve and foster a better understanding as well as cosmopolitanism — amongst Bangalees and their friends from all corners of the world.
